[FYF] Why affiliate marketers don’t make money with a “typical” marketing funnel

You’ve probably seen pictures of
“marketing funnels” that show a
funnel with these words going
down it:

  • Attention
  • Interest
  • Desire
  • Action
  • Sale

Sometimes you see the “Sale”
coming out of the bottom of the
funnel as a “$” sign.

That model can work well if you
are selling your own product or
service, but what if you are an
affiliate marketer who wants to
grow multiple streams of online
income?

Do you really have to wait until
the very last email in your
autoresponder before you try to
sell anything?

Of course not!

A sale can come at any point
after somebody has opted in to
your mailing list, especially if
you are in the “biz-op seeker”
or “make money online” niches.

Keep in mind that people who
want to make money online
are usually in a hurry and
ready to grab anything that
looks like it will work for them.

So they may move much more
quickly through the steps from
Attention to Sale than people
in other niche markets do.

The key is to deliver to your
subscribers email content that
is relevant, useful and easy to
follow. Then there will be no
problem in including a link to
an offer that you recommend.

And if you follow my “Fill Your
Funnel” strategy, some of your
subscribers are very likely to
bring you multiple sales and
recurring commissions…

But we’ll talk about all that in
the next few email letters.
