In this introductory module of the Business Blogging with WordPress course, we’re going to have a look at seven benefits of business blogging.

The first benefit is personal branding. Blogging empowers you to create a unique presence online. It’s your own personal platform, and that will separate you from all the other affiliate marketers and all the other competition out there. It will enable you to expand your reach, and by regularly publishing content on your blog, you can attract more traffic and reach more people in your target market.

The second benefit is search engine traffic. You can blog about topics that people are looking for on the search engines that are relevant to your Niche to attract people who are already looking for information about those topics on the search engines. Search engine traffic is the best traffic you can get because people who find your blog posts through the search engines are already looking for what you are offering.

The third reason why you should be blogging is that blogs build trust. Blogging allows affiliate marketers to build trust with their Audience by providing valuable information and demonstrating their expertise. A blog is a great way to get people to know, like, and trust you, and this can lead to more conversions and sales.

The fourth great benefit of blogging is content marketing. Affiliate marketers can use their blog to create valuable and informative content, such as product reviews, how-to posts, demo posts, and by providing this kind of helpful content, you can establish yourself as a reliable source of information and a trusted advisor, which increases your chances of getting sales and earning commissions.

Number five is diversification of income. You can use your blog to diversify your income streams by providing a variety of products and services related to your Niche. You can earn commissions from multiple sources.

The sixth benefit of business blogging is the advertising revenue that you can get. You can earn additional income by placing third-party ads on your site. I cover all my blogging and hosting costs with Google ads, and I also generate some extra income by placing leads leap ads on my blog. Now, the seventh great benefit of business blogging is the list building site, and in fact, that’s probably the biggest benefit of them all. Use your blog to build your mailing list, and then you can use your mailing list to drive traffic back to your blog. They work very well together. Here are some ways that blogs and autoresponders can work together:

.1: Lead magnets – A Blog can be a great place to offer lead magnets such as free ebooks, guides, checklists, or free courses. You can encourage visitors to subscribe to your email list and get the resource.

.2: The welcome series of email letters – When someone subscribes to your email list, you can automatically send them a welcome email introducing yourself and your blog. This could be followed by a series of emails that provide more information about your Niche and products and point people back to relevant blog posts.

.3: Product promotions – Use your autoresponder email sequence to promote relevant product offers to your email list and include a link to a detailed review of the product that is on your blog. That keeps traffic flowing back to your blog and also provides your subscribers with valuable content so that they can make informed decisions, which also serves to build trust and increases the probability of your earning a commission.

And the final one: 7.4: Newsletters – Use your autoresponder to send regular newsletters to your email list highlighting your latest blog posts, product reviews, and promotions. When it comes to autoresponders, this technique is known as broadcasting. So, the autoresponder letter is one that you write on that day when you publish your blog and send out to your list. It’s not a regular part of your email series. Okay, so those are the seven benefits
